A Community For Peace provides legal options and resources before, during and after legal proceedings.  You are not alone during this process.  We are aware this could be a very confusing, frustrating and scary time.  Our legal support team is here to provide all the support you need.

A Community For Peace advocates provide coaching and preparation for the court experience and can advise you of your rights, your process for appeals or complaints. And we can make referrals for services you may need to take next steps toward success and empowerment

  • Mother’s Legal Helper Services: Ex Parte Support, Mediation Advocate, Attorney Referrals
  • Court Prep/Court Accompaniment
  • Safety Planning
  • Restraining order support
  • Other access to legal support
  • Other services available during visit, such as domestic violence counseling, housing support services, advocacy support and more.

Safety Planning and DV Counseling are part of every legal session to ensure the safety of you and your children.  Coordination with law enforcement and CPS are part of our collaborative partnerships to help smooth the way. On-going and follow-up counseling available.
