Volunteer Opportunities

It takes a very special kind of person to give so generously to work in this field.

It is the noblest and rewarding service you can offer to humankind… to work for peace in every home, in every school, and in every neighborhood is a legacy worth every minute and every hour. As one of our volunteers and part of our Advocate Team whether Direct, Indirect, Prevention Services, on the Board of Directors or Advisory Board, ACFP volunteers are the heart and soul of our community and sustain our day-to-day operations. We change lives!

Kids Programs

Get involved in our Kid’s programs. We welcome volunteers to help out with our programs by working with kids in the Trauma Informed Playcare. For Kid’s SAKE provides free therapeutic play care to our DVAS while they attend DVAS 101 and DVAS plus. You can also help by donating to the programs items for our kids:

  • Healthy snacks and juice boxes
  • Diapers for our babies
  • Art supplies – clay, paints, artist pads and brushes
  • We need folks who can let their inner kids come out and play
